LIL MONSTA

The axolotl (/ˈæksəlɒtəl/; etymol. Nāhuatl āxōlōtl /aːˈʃoːloːt͡ɬ/ (singular) or āxōlōmeh /aːˈʃoːloːmeʔ/ (plural) "water monster") also known as a Mexican salamander (Ambystoma mexicanum) or a Mexican walking fish, is a neotenic salamander, closely related to the tiger salamander. Although the axolotl is colloquially known as a "walking fish", it is not a fish, but an amphibian. The species originates from numerous lakes, such as Lake Xochimilco underlying Mexico City. Axolotls are unusual among amphibians in that they reach adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis. Instead of developing lungs and taking to land, the adults remain aquatic and gilled.

Axolotls should not be confused with waterdogs, the larval stage of the closely related tiger salamanders (A. tigrinum and A. mavortium), which are widespread in much of North America and occasionally become neotenic. Neither should they be confused with mudpuppies (Necturus spp.), fully aquatic salamanders which are not closely related to the axolotl but bear a superficial resemblance.
As of 2010, wild axolotls were near extinction due to urbanization in Mexico City and consequent water pollution. They are currently listed by CITES as an endangered species and by IUCN as critically endangered in the wild, with a decreasing population. Axolotls are used extensively in scientific research due to their ability to regenerate limbs. Axolotls were also sold as food in Mexican markets and were a staple in the Aztec diet.
A four-month-long search in 2013 turned up no surviving individuals in the wild. Previous surveys in 1998, 2003 and 2008 had found 6000, 1000 and 100 axolotls per square kilometer in its Lake Xochimilco habitat, respectively.

"We Will Not Go Down" (Song for Gaza)

SONG FOR GAZA - A SONG ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS
In January of 2009, during the war in Gaza, Michael wrote and released a humanitarian song in support of the Palestinian civilian victims. The song is called "We Will Not Go Down (Song for Gaza)" (click here to download song). It was posted on YouTube and originally made available as a free mp3 download. The response to the song has been overwhelming, to say the least. Here are a few stats:
  • Over 1 million views of the original video on YouTube (within the first month)
  • Over half a million downloads of mp3
  • Over 10,000 emails, comments and messages of support
Contrary to the belief of some people, the song has absolutely nothing to do with religion (and the various online postings by people claiming that Michael is a follower of any particular religion are totally erroneous). This song is strictly humanitarian in nature. It has been, and continues to be, played on radio stations and television channels in several countries, and it was chanted in demonstrations and rallies all over the globe. It has been translated into a dozen languages and subtitled on numerous clips. More than 500 new clips have been made with "We Will Not Go Down" by people all over the world, and thousands of websites have uploaded the clip and posted the lyrics (Note: Please scroll down to read an important notice regarding the above-mentioned videos).
Michael did not initially make the song available on iTunes. However, after the incessant inflow of emails he received from people inquiring as to why it wasn't available on iTunes, he has finally rectified this situation in July of 201

WE WILL NOT GO DOWN (Song for Gaza)
(Composed by Michael Heart)
Copyright 2009
A blinding flash of white light
Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight
People running for cover
Not knowing whether they’re dead or alive
They came with their tanks and their planes
With ravaging fiery flames
And nothing remains
Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze
We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight
Women and children alike
Murdered and massacred night after night
While the so-called leaders of countries afar
Debated on who’s wrong or right
But their powerless words were in vain
And the bombs fell down like acid rain
But through the tears and the blood and the pain
You can still hear that voice through the smoky haze
We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

Our seniors said that we should have come to Lapangan Bali at 6.15 in the morning, tried to be an obedient junior I saw come on time but guess what the event finally started at around 7.30 . . . . The next agenda is color run, I was exited about that but the route was too far I was too tired for being an exited student so I ended up being not-so-exited.
The next agenda is of course the sport competition

NATURAL PHENOMENON

23.04 Posted by Arina Sabila No comments

Doug Perrine, a marine biology photographer, has captured stunning images of bioluminescent waves, in Vaadhoo Island, Maldives.

The spot holds a concentrated population of bioluminescent phytoplankton, much to the delight of photographers.
Various species of phytoplankton are known to bioluminesce, and when washed ashore by the tides, their chemical energy is turned into light energy, illuminating waves all over the world.
The biological process is ancient, natural and found around the world. If you've never seen it, it's most easily observed on nice, warm beaches after dark.

23.45 Posted by Arina Sabila No comments
Hello guys! Please forgive me for the nonsense title of this post because I basically don't know what to put there so yeah just ignore. This post actually made to fulfill my empty score spot :( I was sick at the moment my class did a video conference, so yeah I should fulfill the empty score with another task, yeah Miss Wiwin told me so. Omg what am I saying I'm sorry for making you read such a nonsense lines:(

So yeah the task is to telling everyone(basically not EVERYONE tho-) about how I spent my "precious Sunday -23rd November 2013". The day was actually special because IT'S SUNDAY!! Ok I know nothing actually special from my Sundays because I basically spent it with lazying around, but wait... the 23rd November is special because.........

Are you ... Are you ... Coming to the tree?

Yes. That's all.

I watched the movie with Farid and Salsal. They came late from our agreement and it pissed me off a little like a litttllleeee because I'm not a patient type of person. But then about like 20 minutes later Salsal came, and Farid came so late from our agreement thanks to you Farid Anwar Zuchrinata. The movie started at 13:00 it was one hour till the time so we decided to had our lunch first. And we chose Mc Donald. There we met Jihan, she is my other classmate and we were like 'lets join us, let's watch the movie' and she also agreed but we end up left her because she just took a long time to eat her lunch and we basically didn't want to wait her and missed the movie, I know we are such a nice friends :)

Finally we watched the movie...

*when we watched the movie*

Me : what the hell is wrong with your brain Peeta?
Me : what the hell, are they brainwashed him?
Me : just die already President Snow

Salsal : farid *gave him her popcorn nicely*
Salsal : farid! Popcorn?
Salsal : atuh arinaaa

Farid : euuuu arina
Farid : what time is it?
Farid : the movie gonna end soon
Farid : its the climax and the movie gonna end soon, good
Farid : the movie gonna end soon

So yeah afterall the movie was great. Then we went to KFC for our second lunch:) And then we went home, me and farid used a public car because we basically love our earth :)

THE END
Ok bye guys!!!!!! I should do another task so yeah see you later

STORY TELLING ; CHANGING BATTERIES

04.08 Posted by Arina Sabila No comments

Once a sunny day in a quiet and old house, the bell suddenly rang. It was a package from the old woman's son because  he could not visit her. The package contained a robot, a human-like robot. The robot helped her in doing the household chores such as sweeping the yard, cleaning the house, watering the plants and assisting her because of her old age. The robot became like her son. It joins her in dinner and even in watching TV. As time passed by she got sick and died. The robot searched for its used batteries, it thought she could awake if it put the batteries on, like what the old woman always did to him. But nope, the old woman didn't move at all.

Time flies, the battery of the robot getting low and the robot died. Magically it opened its eyes, it met the old woman in the new better life.

This video serves as a reminder to all of us to give importance to our parents specially their needs as they grow older. All they wanted is their children to be on their side when the time comes that they become weak and sick. They need us to be there to help them in times they need us. They deserved to be loved and cared for, this is our only way to give back all their sacrifices for us. Let us cherish every moment we have with our parents so that until the end of time they will feel that they are important.

MATSWAPATI

03.55 Posted by Arina Sabila No comments
HELLOOO PEOPLE!!
Omg
omg omg haii omg oh my god can I stop saying omg? Omg by the way hello! Omg It feels like a century since my latest post here so yeah I know you have been missing me since ever so here I am gonna fulfill your longingness ( what's even longingness:( I just can not find any better word for 'kerinduan' so nah-) How have you been dear readers? I hope you're fine there. Are you curious about how have I been guys? Well yeah as you know I life in this flat daily life so yeah. But then . . . . There was matswapati that makes my day colorful . . . . . okwhat

Ohyes have you guys heard about 'MATSWAPATI'? If you're one of my schoolmates then nah you absolutely known that and if you're miss wiwin ( hello miss ;) ) you definitely known what matswapati is right? Matswapati is 3 senior high school's ( which is my beloved school ) latest event! Yeap it took place on 27th September 2014 at Lapangan Bali, Bali street number 8. The event is about Bandung's culture. We know already that Bandung has like sooooo many cultures so as a teenage we should at least know the culture and we should 'melestarikan' ( pardon my English please:( please kindly tell me what melestarikan means in English:( ) the culture. What a great event right? Yes because I participated on that event 8) okno

Yeah actually all the 10th graders were also participated. Not just as a committee but we also participated on the parade. The parade was also attended by elementary and junior high scholars. There was actually a competition between each class for winning one million rupiahs! Omg that's make my class so ambitious for winning this competition. We even prepared a chant about matswapati, have a dresscode ; black and batik, wore a same headband with 'matswapati' written on it and yeah when the parade started at about 8 o'clock, we immediately sang our chant. Other classes were so quite, they probably didn't prepare a chant before so it made us somehow feel like we're gonna win this competition. It was actually tiring but yeah I felts so happy, probably not only me but all participants. You can see their happy face on these picture --

And at about 10 o'clock the event officially opened!! The event was opened by our mayor. He is actually one of my schoolmate's father ( this is actually not important but nah, just so you know ). The event continued by so many performers, such as Jaipongan,  samba sunda junior, wayang golek griharja, saung udjo and many more. Our school also presented KV3, LSS, TsT, KPA and MK. But well to be honest, I didn't really watch them because you know I was busy with my own happiness because I can met my old friends.

And jeng jeng finally its time for our special guest star performance . . . . . . . . . . glenn fredly!! Omg I couldn't wait for his performance to be honest so did other people at Lapangan Bali I guess. I was standing between Hernadi ( I guess you know him right? our palu . . . . . omg I MISS RINDAM-- nah he's actually my junior high schoolmate and we have been close since we were on second grade. And yeah we met again at senior high school. Its not important to tell you about him but yeah-- and he was the one who asked me like 'let's watch Glenn Fredly closer' and he pulled me to the center where we could see him close. I actually wanted to watch Glenn with my other classmates but then I couldn't reject your friendly invitation . . . . ok just kidding hernadi! It was nice to standing beside you and hear you singing because you basically have that 'thumbs up' voice. Keep it up bro! Let's not talk about him because he is basically not gonna read this--- I'm sorry readers for making you read such a nonsense lines.) and Nadya ( I guess you haven't know her :( Yep because she is from 1 senior high and she is just basically 'not famous' hahaha kidding. ). I didn't actually know the first song of Glenn's performance yeah probably everyone because it might be not his famous' song, but when it comes 'terserah' people were like galauing around with that song. Maybe so did Hernadi because he was singing the whole song and seemed so galau #staystrongfriend. When it comes that 'terpesona~ ku pada pandangan pertama' lol I'm sorry I don't know the title of the song:( People were like singing it with that 'kode' face. I was also sing the chorus part of the song, but then jeng jeng . . . my phone vibrated and there was a message from my dad, "Ka, I'm at taman music. Come here in 15 minutes, let's go home fast." and I was like . . . . . . . please dad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But as a good daughter *cough* I -unfortunately- went home when Glenn Fredly had not even finish his performance.

Overall, the event was sooooooooo amazing. It gave me so much memories. Thanks my dear school, my friends. And thanks for you for reading such a nonsense yet full with grammar mistake post made by me:( See you on the next post . . . . . . And I'm gonna give you some clue that, I'm gonna post 'matswapati' part two, so yeah see you!!!

AMAZING PLACE

03.34 Posted by Arina Sabila No comments

Hello everyone! I'm going to tell you about my favorite 'amazing place'. As you known, god made this world beauty and amazing, everything in this world is beauty and amazing. So I took me a while to chose what is my favorite 'amazing place'. But then this place made my jaw dropping down because of its beauty. Anyone here can guess what place it is?

First clue ; CHERRY BLOSSOM

Well its not a place in Japan. I know cherry blossom is so identical with Japan but nah, please think harder ;)

Second clue ; BRIDGE OF ROMANCE

It sounds so dramatic yet cheesy right :(

Still cannot guess what place is it? Ok then *drum roll* I'm going to tell you the answer

ladies and gentlemen, introducing you . . . . . Kyeong-Wha Station, Jinhae (진해 경화역) !!!

Tt is beautiful-if I would come to South Korea at spring-this would definitely be the place I would love to visit. Jinhae, a district in Changwon City, on the southeastern edge of Korea. This area has become famous for hosting the largest cherry blossom festival every year, where apparently over 2 million tourists come to take in the sites. Kyeong-Wha Train Station was one of the places I wanted to go the most, as the tracks are lined with cherry blossom trees on either side, and the wind from trains rushing by creates a storm of cherry blossom petals.  Dreams of swirling in a cherry blossom tornado amongst pixies danced inside my head.

Jinhae may have more than just cherry blossom trees, but judging by this photo, cherry blossom trees are reason enough to go. Jinhae is another place that’s a little far for a day trip, but on the flip side, it is also one of the best places in the world to see the cherry blossoms in the spring.
Of course, this naval city is home to a lot more than just cherry blossom trees, but the Naval Academy and museum are only open to the public during the annual Jinhae Naval Festival, a festival commemorating one of Korea's biggest heroes from history, Admiral Yi Sun-shin. But be warned: the festival, combined with the allure of the cherry blossoms, means that there will be swarms of tourists, so unless it's a personal must, long lines are only a waste of time.
Hardier tourists can also walk up Mount Jangbok, which has been paved with stairs, and be rewarded with a view of the 300,000 or so cherry trees in blossom.
